I probably use mine about 12 times a day. If you have a job or lifestyle that doesn't require one, good for you. Just about every man I know carries one and has a cheap spare sitting in the glove box.

Used to have that exact same Gerber, or one extremely similar. Lost it and replaced it with a cheap Sheffield like this:

It gets the job done, but it's probably about time for something new.

I also have one of these guys at home, but it's too bulky for every day carrying around, plus the blade is too long for my workplace policies.

I travel for work so have had to drop having a knife on me. Only a matter of time before I forgot it and TSA had a nice knife.

Happened to me, lost my Dad's Case, like on page one. It was in the pocket of my pants, folded inside my carry-on. They offered me the option of removing it and going back to check it.

Carry my Dad's Coast Guard lineman's tool in my bag, now. Still angry about the Case.

Case single blade, given to me by my great grandfather. My single blade can skin a rabbit and cut through anything I need to cut. I've never needed to get another.

No, I cut a lot of stuff open at the office. The other 3-4 times is opening beers and cleaning under my nails.
