People say money and security and God knows what else. Those all seem to be heavily contributing factors, but I honestly think most of it is totally irrational. Very little about how they react to situations makes any sense. Their ability to flip in a split second is also perplexing.

Best bet... Find one that will put out as often as possible. She's going to be miserable fairly often, sex gives you a brief relief. Develop great relationships with your kids and get a dog. (Both of those can be happy for longer than a work day)

This morning it would have been to stay snuggled in my nice warm bed. Sadly, that isn't always what makes me happy. Some days wine makes me happy, some days it's vodka. Most of the time I like to spend time with my friends, but some days I just want to be left the hell alone. I prefer reading to going to the movies most of the time and my favorite food is Mexican, Tex-Mex, not that Baja crap we get out here.
It's up to you to figure out which one works at the specific moment in time.

People all too often feel that they have to get happiness from a source other than themselves. Women are especially bad about this. These people will never be happy.

Not so much. You either tell me, or deal with it. My job is to make me happy and provide my family with the opportunity to create their own happiness. Luckily, Mrs Cove is very low maintenance and I generally don't have to put up with much bullshite from her.
