There's video from a guy inside the plane. Stuff is blowing around and people are getting up and walking around. Oddly calm.

I would think the whole getting tossed out at 400+ MPH would end it quick.

The explosion itself is sudden.

The fact/knowledge an explosion is imminent is not always sudden.
