I would think the whole getting tossed out at 400+ MPH would end it quick.

That and the whole 30,000 ft. thing. Probably wouldn't be able to breathe.

I don't know how high they were, cant read article now, but if they were at cruising altitude or even close, the person most likely died/passed out not long after they launched(That's saying if the explosion and getting ripped from the plane didn't kill them instantly)

Id say there was slim chance they got out safely, didn't suffocate, and were conscious all the way down. If so though, most likely didn't feel a thing.

Im sure he got cut up pretty bad on the way out. If he didnt die right away thats a long time to reflect on your life.

Wouldn't you die of a heart attack in midair due to the sheer terror of what just happened?

I would think the explosion or being sucked out immediately would have incapacitated the passenger...I doubt he was conscious while falling

There's video from a guy inside the plane. Stuff is blowing around and people are getting up and walking around. Oddly calm.

they live in Mogadishu. Getting sucked out of an airplane is probably child's play compared to the daily horror they witness.
Like living in Mogadishu, for starters.

My bet is the guy set off the bomb himself and only succeeded in killing himself.

They said the explosion was consistent with a small device "like a grenade." Makes me wonder if the guy who was sucked out of the plane had the explosive device.

Assuming it happened at normal cruising altitude and the passenger didn't get torn up on the way out the plane....they probably passed out from hypoxia pretty quickly.

Most likely the initial explosion and being yanked through a jagged hole out in the plane killed him.

11K.....yeah he was probably awake if the initial explosion did not kill him.
