So glad that the idiot saved the world from himself. Fortunately nobody else was hurt.

Roger that. Physiologist here. Rapid decompression lasted very short amount of time. No damage to body physio.wise unless you hold your breath.not as dramatic as most think.

Time of useful conciousness following a rapid decompression is cut in half, so about 30-45sec. At 30k

A girl that was only about 14 survived a plane that fell apart at 30k ft over the Amazon. She said she woke up outside the plane still strapped in. Passed out and woke up in her seat in the jungle. Think she had a broken bone or two and hiked out. Finally found civilization like 10 days later. No big deal. I'll have to find a link.

Found it. LINK

If by "incident" than they mean trying to cover up a murder, I believe it.

I waited until they confirmed the dead guy was a terrorist to comment on the fact that the plane with the hole blown in it was bound for Djibouti.

Bump

quote:

The source said two airport workers, who became suspects in the plot, put the laptop on an X-ray belt and then handed the device to the suspected bomber in the departure lounge. Authorities released surveillance video showing the handover

quote:

The airport worker wearing a white shirt in the surveillance footage died in mysterious circumstances three days after the attack when a vehicle he was in exploded, a Somali official close to the investigation told CNN

I'd say that qualifies as mysterious

One of the pilots of the Virgin Galactic Spaceship II that exploded at 45,000 feet survived, his chute opened automatically and he regained consciousness at around 18,000 ft.
