I am having the surgery in Lafayette at LGMC. When this began we went to Houston for a second opinion. After lots of research found I was comfortable having everything done close to home. My surgeon is one of the best from what every nurse has told me!

Lol, my birth certificate says female so I guess that is what I have to go with. No complaints from the hubby so I guess I have all the right parts in the right places! I will mention to my surgeon to remove anything that does not belong (besides the tumor)!

I don't know how an idiot could downvote you.

I hope with all my heart that you kick cancers arse. I lost my grandfather to pancreatic cancer.

My surgeon was so excited and my Whipple surgery is now scheduled for this Wednesday the 28th! He feels the tumor has receded enough from an artery and a vein for him to remove most if not all of the tumor.

Good luck and keep fighting.

When I had chemo induced neuropathy my doctor put me on a daily dose of magnesium (400 mg) and CoQ10. These supplements worked wonders for this issue. Check with your doctor first.

Good luck with everything, pancreatic cancer is no joke.
