I think of you often and keep you in my prayers. You will definitely be in them on Wednesday and I'm so happy to hear how well you have responded to treatment!

Wishing you the best-your mental fight is half the battle, if not more. Stay positive!

Man, good luck and glad to hear things are going well.
I am sure you covered this before but I missed it. How old are you and how did you get diagnosed? I always wonder what it is that happens that leads to people to a diagnosis. Sometimes it is the most random thing and other times people become very ill.

she had a thread on this when she was initially diagnosed several months back...just click on her username and look through her post history. actually some pretty important signs that I didn't know about listed in there.

Who in God's name downvotes this?
It's not hard to accidentally downvote on a smartphone. I'll bet that accounts for a few of them.

I developed a rare and usually fatal stomach cancer years ago. In researching life expectancy, the charts listed tumors from 0 to 10 cm. My tumor was 35 cm.
Life expectancy was usually 2 years. I am now starting year 6.
Miracles do happen. You seem to be responding very well to the chemo like I did.
I have lived life from month to month. I recommend you make some long term plans. It will help your outlook. Get your affairs in order just in case but plan on watching LSU win the football National Championship this fall like I do.
I truly never expected to live this long.
And remember: I care.
