Yeah I've got kids and I have noticed when holding my little one that my gut pokes out pretty far.. Plus my 6 yr old asked me the other day why was my tummy so fluffy.... Pretty much sealed the deal on getting back into shape

Yeah, that's a turning point. You'll see results in no time.

Tip: good fats make you muscular and increase your metabolism. If you work out, you run the risk of your body eating muscle. It does this by creating a singular protein. I read that good fats protect you from that protein.

shite, I need you to start making threads then. I am beginning to realize there is so little I know about proper nutrition.

When I was looking for something to fill in extra crap I needed in college I found all the sports nutrition classes took them....and they turned out to be quite eye opening..

I have done P90X 3 time, P90X2 once, Insanity repeatedly for a year, and just started P90X3 last week.

I believe that this is my favorite workout yet. The first couple of workouts we not that tough (Total Synergistics and Agility X), but The Challenge was brutal - in a good way. I have not been that sore from a workout since my first round of P90X.

I am sure that the intensity picks up in Blocks 2 & 3, which I am looking forward to, but so far, I like it a lot. LOVE that it is only 30 mins. 1-1.5 hours got really old.

Just finished my first week. The Challenge is by far my favorite workout from any of the P90x's so far. I chose 30/10 as my numbers at the start, not fully aware that those were the numbers I had to hit with every set. I was thinking we'd pick new numbers each time. I got through the pushups (although my chest was completely done by the end of it), but was only hitting about 2-3 unassisted pullups by the middle of the workout, haha. Great workout, though!

Mine just came in on Friday and I am starting it this afternoon. I did P90X about 3 years ago and went from 216 to 185 (I am 6'1"). II have since let myself get back into the 215 range again and I need to do something. I just had a baby so b/w work and the new baby time is hard to come by. I feel this is perfect for me right now. Excited to see that it is more like the 1st one than the 2nd and that people are enjoying the workouts. I am looking to drop 20-25 lbs and get in the 190-195 range. This thread has gotten my excited to start his afternoon.

I'm on week 4 of block 1 of the mass cycle. Love the Challenge and Incinerator.

If you want to add ab work, throw in the Pilates X dvd. The first 15 minutes is nothing but abs and core.
