Say you've known her your whole life or you met her at a function or church. I'm not talking about cruising the HS football games for poon.

Just don’t see the big deal in that small an age difference, I’m 10 years older than my old lady

To be fair, in this scenario she is still in hs

Then nah.

Meh, I work in an environment where there is a turnover of HS and recently graduated HS chicks. I'm not popping around HS parties looking to score.

Why do we have to be in the 21-26 range? I’m well north of that and I’d break in an 18 year old.

At 26 I had purchased my first house and had been in my career for 2-3 years at that point. I had a college degree and working on my masters.

Congratulations, what does this have to do with anything?

Money and education dont make you a mature person.

Most people forget a 18-19 year old girl is probably more mature than a 21-23 year old baw

I figured above that, it does get creepy. I'm talking date, not smash. Even 25-26 is pushing it

To me, it's not about the age difference. It's about where you are in your life.

16 vs 26 is a huge difference

26 to 36 not so much.

I don't even understand why a 21-16 year old man would want to date an 18 year old girl except for sex.

Now, I understand that not 18 year olds are the same, but in general when an older guy is hanging around hs girls it's only for sex.

All things considered I'd rather date and have girls in my age group and my maturity level.

It doesn’t get creepy until they start calling you daddy and asking for lunch money.

I remember several hot chicks in my senior class dating older dudes. I don't think they were going to prom though, just smashing on the weekends.

I think you're mistaking career and education for maturity, which is a really narrow view of things.

As a 21 year old you should be well past the point of a high school state of mind. At 26, you should be knee deep in a career and setting up the rest of your life.

Outstanding response ....a million upvotes to you.

When I was 24, I was dating a 17y/o who just graduated from hs and was going into her freshman year at LSU.

She lied to me and told me she was 18..

Her dad outed her during the presidential election in 1988. We were watching the Republican convention with him, that was in the Dome at the time, and he told her that too bad she'll miss voting in the election since her birthday was just a week after..

She said the look on my face was priceless.. Didn't care, still dated her for the next year.. Her dad was cool as shite... Big LSU fan...

The fact that as a 24y/o I looked 18 didn't hurt either..
