Let's say she is 18 (or 19 and just dumb), could you seriously date her? I'm talking going to prom, homecoming, hanging with her HS friends, etc.

No...

As a 21 year old you should be well past the point of a high school state of mind.

At 26, you should be knee deep in a career and setting up the rest of your life.

Sexually there's no issue.

But going to prom and homecoming and hanging out with a group of HS kids? Very weird.

High school kids in a group are obnoxious and terrible to be around.

You think some 21 year old dating a 18 year old is a loser because she is in HS? Even if she is some smoke show with her shite together, and you've known her your whole life?

The prom is not for him, it's her prom, he is just her date.

Lol. No, I would say a lot of people are started out in careers at 26 with a good lot maybe finishing grad school.

Then again I dont know what you mean by "knee deep". 4 years into a career isnt very long at all.

Yes. Best case they started dating as a senior and freshman which is still odd but then he held on to a girl in high school for 3 years of college

Thinking back to when I was that age. Even at 21, I thought that would be weird just because you are 3 or 4 years removed from HS and you would have to go to homecoming and prom. Also, the two or three years after HS people tend to grow up a little and in the process of changing the way they view life in general so I always thought it would be strange.

When I was in HS.. I want to say during my junior year a girl in my class started dating a guy who was 25-26.. He would go to all the parties with her, etc.. And quite a few people assumed he was a "loser" or would at least make jokes about it.

The fact he worked at a paint shop and drove a low-rider with "a lot of sound" didn't help either.

In four years, you would be 30 and her 22-23 years old

Let's say they start dating when she is 18 and him 21. They've known each other since kids, just never dated

At 26 I had purchased my first house and had been in my career for 2-3 years at that point. I had a college degree and working on my masters.

At 18 she is riding the bus to school, living with her parents, and getting ready for prom.

At 25, I wasn't passing up an 18 yr old HS graduate or 19.

And in less than 10 years she could be a neurosurgeon, what’s your point?

To be fair, in this scenario she is still in hs...

She hadn't even graduated yet.

At 25, if you were trolling for high school girls, you had to be a pitiful man.

date? You'd have to be socially and intellectually limited for this to be possible.
