Awwwwwesome series, but it would be so hard to adapt.

You would have to have an incredible budget for the effects. Then the casting would be so difficult to do well without making it feel teeny bopper like Hunger Games. And that's before we get into the fact that the Golds are basically giants compared to the other colors.

Supposedly the first book is in pre-production, but I don't have my hopes up.

Just starts The Guns of August today.

If you haven't, I would suggest some Tom Clancy starting with Red Storm Rising.

Just finished Wolf of Wall Street and Star Wars : Bloodline

About to start Rich Dad, Poor Dad and then a Ambrose WW2 novel. (Name escapes me)

A post in the thread about the woman that fell off the cruise ship got me to read Carl Hiaasen's Skinny Dip. Fun light read. Finished the book in 2 days.

I'd like to start the Jack Reacher story. May have to check it out. I really enjoyed the movie.

Lucky's Bridge by Tom Wilson.

Book about F105s in Vietnam....fiction, but not bad on historical correctness.

About to start "Reagan At Reykjavik: Fourty-Eight Hours That Ended the Cold War" by Ken Adelman. The Kindle version is $1.99 right now for some reason fwiw.
