She clearly want's to get back together. You should just dump your current gf and move into the same town as your ex. This will let her know you are serious this time. Invite them both to lunch and explain to the current husband that you're back and he should probably move on so you can finish what you started a few years ago. You invested 9 years so they both kind of owe it to you.

I don’t understand this. If a girl has the kind of drama that make bullets flying in her general vicinity a remote possibility, I’m getting as far away from her as possible.
