Life hasn't played out like she wanted it to. She sees you happy with somebody else and wants to frick that up for you. I'd cut all contact.
I get the nostalgia part of it. There might be a lot of other things from that time in your life that you miss and are associating with her because she was around.

You've both grown a lot since then so the mental picture you may have of things immediately being like the good ol' times isn't accurate. Two things could happen: One, you have amazing makeup sex for a while but within two months you're realizing this isn't what you thought it would be. Or two, you start over from the beginning, take it slow, get to know each other and build a new relationship that may have a chance.
