You have no idea what the 'Stars and Bars' is. Here is a hint before you run off to google: The 'Stars and Bars' is not part of the MS flag.
Its representative of the confederacy
Are you normally this bad a poster?

While the Confederate States are used by some today as a rally cry for their white supremacy they are very much so in the minority.
Yes the former South is greatly romanticized today but in today's US most view it as a fight for their liberty against an oppressive federal government.
The North aka socialism/imperialism vs. The South aka independence. The slavery issue was brought about by the north to keep the south from gaining any allies outside the country. Today it is all about slavery. The victors write the history books, correct? I can't say that it would've been better if the south would have won. But I believe their cause was the nobler of the two.

sounds great and all, but they too would have had a government, and over a long enough time line, it would more than likely turned into something similar to what we have now....

Racists still hold on to the dream of the confederacy, but the confederacy lost over two hundred years ago to the Union's superior tactical skill and training. It's kinda pathetic honestly

The ending of the War Between the States occurred just over 150 years ago.. April 1865.
Go take a history class.

Doesn't this fall under guilt by association?
Do you realize that there were some Union officers that owned slaves during the war?
Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation was nothing but a political ploy to prevent the Europeans powers from officially recognizing the Confederacy. It also enabled him to swell the Union ranks with large numbers of colored troops. It was a smart political move that worked.

I actually did know the part about New Jersey. I'm glad that I'm not the only one here who knew about Irish slaves.
