We need to close Southern and possibly Loyola and limit the 1 Law enrollment at Tulane and LSU to 100 people and make the bar exam even tougher for about ten years. We have too many attorneys in this state, many of whom are a danger to themselves, their clients, and the public at large.

that's just retarded. Are you a lawyer??

Tulane has been gradually downsizing. I think the rising 3L class is around 180.

My class was ~200.

I can't remember loyola's #s but i think it was a lot bigger. Gotta love that tuition $$$

So... what are your feelings on prosecutors? You seem to be an enlightened individual. Working at McDonald's must give someone so much perspective.

Don't pay any mind to Lucas.

This is the same guy that's convinced that Howland Reed is the High Sparrow.

Clever. But you didn't really make a counter point. There's few professions that produce so little and benefit so much. Doctors, engineers, even military, they all suffer from bureaucratic measures put in place by the profession that you're defending. Lawyers impede progress and benefit from that impedance. What am i missing here?

Sorry, might take a moment to respond, fries are nearly done.

You sound like someone who did terribly on the LSAT and couldn't even get into a for profit law school. That's all.

That would fricking infuriate me. That's like not having a best interest of the child question on Code I. Those are easy points. I think the code III examiner is just trying to be a dick.

I thought Code 3 was a complete and utter failure for me. They called to give me my CALI award later that year for code 3. My practice is about 80% code 3 now.

Yeah. It's a profession that's based on taking profit from selling a man what is rightfully his. There are lower things that a man could aspire to do, but not many.

Kinda like the medical field and good health, right? Or perhaps CPAs and one's own wealth? I could go on and on but it would embarrass you

Yes doctors charge people money to help them. But your analogy only holds up if the ailment also hired a doctor to fight to keep the patient ill.

The doctor is only hired to promote good health. There's no counter doctor to promote the opposite, with both sides profiting.

If the lawyer's profession is to find justice then, by its very nature, half are fighting against it. A doctor or engineer or firefighter can claim altruism while gaining profit, at the very minimum their efforts promote happiness or welfare in others. A lawyer often does neither, and usually the opposite.

Lawyers are the grease of government and organized society. Deal with it.

Sounds like you're the one who needs to leave our organized society and government. That'd be much easier for all and you'd be happier.

I want all people to be free of the tyranny of organized society. It's my crusade. It will be a long fight but it has to start somewhere c
