Most ERs will remove them for free as part of the original visit if they placed them, or as an outpatient visit.

You got any needle nose pliers and a friend you trust? They're not that hard to take out.

The lake charged 403 for three staples and said its another charge for removal.

Just leave them, they're not hurting anything.

I don't think that's a good idea... I assume there is a major risk associated with just leaving them in right?

You have any friends who are nurses?

They might be willing to do it for you.

you know any nurses? I had a friend's mom take mine out.

She brought home the proper pliers sealed in plastic too.

Really, though. Just pull them out.

You have got to know atleast one nurse that would be very happy to do it for you for free.

Most people I know in the medical industry would be pumped if I said can you take my staples out at the house. They would find it fun

If it's not considered some type of big violation for them, I think I can find someone to do that. I wouldn't want them to take some big risk, I'll pay first before that.

If it's not uncommon for them to bring a tool home that would be awesome. I actually have to pay medical bills in full, but that's ok I don't usually get hurt much

Just leave them. As your skin sheds more and more skin cells in the area they will eventually fall out.

Those things make it super easy to pull them out. I don't get to remove staples often but always liked doing it when I had to for some reason.

One of those weird things some nurses find fun I guess.
