You don't yank them out.

The tool pushes in the middle of the staple and the sharp ends pop up and out.

I don't think you understand how it is working in a hospital. I can't just take a staple remover kit and pay for it at work

Huh? I'm talking about buying one off of Amazon like you suggested. BigEd buys one and a nurse friend uses it to remove the staples. Any issue there?

Extra time shouldnd't be a problem. Skin/scabs might stick to edges of staple and can make them a little more uncomfortable when they come out. Before taking them out, clean well with alcohol wipes to loosen skin/scabs then remove. But, use the right tool or you might need staples again.

I don't see any. As long as the nurse friend felt comfortable doing it.

Did you weirdly enjoy removing staples?

I don't know why, but I always did....it's fun in it's own weird way....esp if you have that staple remover tool.

I can only imagine it being hard for a blind person. I took 5 out for my stepsister. It's pretty self-explanatory

Just in case you get any silly thoughts, those staple removers actually open the staple up so it comes out easily. Trying to pull them straight out wll rip your shite bloody!

Today is the fourth day of them in. They told me 3-5 days then remove. If I wait 6-7 days will I be putting myself into a bad situation?

They meant 35 days.

Does anyone know if there is a true risk to leaving them in an extra day or two

Theres no risk. I've taken staples out that have been in for 30 or more days before. Problem is that if you leave them too long they are harder to get out and can often leave "train track" scars.
