Part of her schtick is making comments about how thin or attractive or smart or whatever she is. Like referring to herself as a supermodel: the joke is clearly that's not the case.
Whether or not you find it funny is one thing. Not arguing that. But I really don't think she's saying that without a sense of sarcasm.
