It's not that difficult. It's how long it takes light to travel for 1 year.

Light travels at 186,000 miles a second.

That's 5,878,499,810,000 miles in one year.

. Now my question will we every have a vehicle that can go that fast so we can go visit some of these places?

anything with mass can't travel at light speed

Time slows down as one approaches the speed of light. Aging would slow down. The problem is that the mass of a moving object becomes infinite when traveling at the speed of light.

It's a collage whose material covers the greatest amount of space ever covered in a collage. Not the biggest picture ever taken.

No, if you were traveling at lightspeed the elapsed time would (to you) be exactly zero.

Problem is that because you have mass you can't go that fast - the energy required would be infinite.

However, you can theoretically get close enough that the elapsed time could be drastically shortened. This has been experimentally demonstrated using radioactive nuclei - the faster you accelerate them the longer the half-life becomes, exactly in accordance with predicted values.

If you could run all the way around the globe at its widest point and be back where you started in a second, it would still take you almost 500k years to run the distance from one end of the picture to the other.

This is easy to quantify. However, it seems that deep space travel would be impossible given the vastness of the universe.

The periodic chart for any world in this universe would be the same. There are no 'undiscovered' elements or any unique to those on Earth. The physics is the same everywhere else in this universe as here. Not saying a new compound wouldn't benefit us, but you don't have to go anywhere, as the building blocks are here for us to make it.

Yeah, its not even really close to being the "biggest picture ever taken." There are more than a few images that are approximately 200 times larger than that one.
