re: Kaiser Family Foundation President: Insurance deductibles to sharply rise under Trumpcare - TakeAGander
Currently our family deductible has gone up along with our premiums. I currently have 2 deductible options. I'm so sick of this damn so called health insurance. Between monthly premiums, coninsurance, and deductible we will have paid $20,000 for the latest little one born in February. Affordable hea...

re: Name a year you would like to go back to - TakeAGander
1985. Loved spending the summers as a kid running through the woods, swimming, playing baseball, and late night games of hide and seek with my brothers and neighborhood friends. I had a fun childhood. ...

re: new roof for the house question - TakeAGander
A word of advice from a contractor, do not sign any contract until numbers have been exchanged, and any roofing company worth anything, will complete the job prior to accepting a penny. Also make sure they have insurance. This is more important than having a license in my opinion. ...

re: new roof for the house question - TakeAGander
No every roofing company tells you they are "hail damage experts". It cracks me up. Some roofing companies will even file the claim for you if they think you have damage before you have an idea as to what's going on. They are dirty, sneaky little bastards. ...

re: Nothing more frustrating than uninsured drivers - TakeAGander
Had 3 sisters hit my parked truck so hard it threw it back 20 feet. It was totaled out. Of course, they had no insurance and the driver had a suspended license, and outstanding warrants. All 3 go to the hospital with injuries, and of course sue me. My insurance settled with all 3. What a fricked up ...

re: St. Michael's of BR Student Writes Controversial Paper on MLK - TakeAGander
Has the student been identified? Just curious. This is so poorly written, you would think someone wrote this with such poor grammar on purpose. I'm a bit skeptical to proven otherwise. ...

re: BR contractor arrested on felony charges EDIT: Re-Re-arrested! - TakeAGander
He was probably financially so far in over his head he wound up robbing one customer to maintain his lifestyle or pay labor to complete another project. I don't believe he had good intentions either way. The little interaction I had with him, he always came across as a pompous ass. ...

re: Engaged but second guessing getting married- advice - TakeAGander
In my opinion I would move out and live apart for some time. Even if means postponing the wedding for later in the year. Living together prior to marriage can potentially set you up for failure. Marriage is not easy. You have to work at it daily. ...

re: How much did getting new windows cost you? - TakeAGander
I talked to several companies, but I felt most comfortable with Glass Guru. Very well versed and informative. That being said i did not get a bad feeling with any of them. I did check some of the work out by window world. I was so so about them. Just my 2 cents. ...
