I have a buddy that hauls milk. The Great Value milk comes from the same cow teets and goes through the same processing as the name brands. Literally the only difference is the label.

Lotta people don't understand Private-labels. This is the case for many of GV, Members Mark(sams), Kirkland (Costco) products

You drove trucks to the warehouses or to where the water was bottled? Just because they're in the same warehouse doesn't mean that they come from the same bottling plant. Although it wouldn't surprise me if those waters did. They sound like low end. Like purified drinking water.

I think the way that most of the store brands work is that they purchase the formula not that Kellogg's or whoever packages store brand cereal. It's then made and packaged at another facility in some foreign country where quality control is poor.

Many knockoffs don't even buy the formula. The back of listerine bottles has a disclaimer that they don't sell their formula for store brands.

Costco tequila (Kirkland) is nearly as good as top shelf.

you can honestly tell the difference between a cashew from a Planter's can and one from a great value can?

if we lined up unsalted/unflavored cashews, you'd be able to pick out the ones from Planter's?

needless to say, i find this hard to believe.

Not on some products. Their label is sent to manufacturer and it's put on finished product and shipped back to them.

I find that Walmart Great value ice cream is much better than any other brand they sell.

It's simply the creamiest ice cream I've found.

accidentally made the mistake of buying Great Value brand milk at Wal-Mart a couple weeks ago. It tasted like white water. Never again. When it comes to that, spring for the name brand.

Are you sure that you didn't buy Great Value 1% or No Fat instead of the Great Value Whole Milk?
Great Value uses this color scheme. The lighter the blue the lower the fat content.

Definitely peanut butter and toilet paper.

Do a taste comparison of Jif or Peter Pan and a no-name brand. I'd rather not have peanut butter if I have to eat the no-name brand.

And who buys no-name toilet paper?
