Overall, I feel that returning the money/wallet was the right thing to do. I would have mailed it to the address on her DL rather than show up at her place unannounced.

My bet is she thanked yall and said goodbye

OP expected her to drop to her knees crying out how thankful she is and reward him $1000 and call the local news to report how good of a Samaritan he is

I think wrappers are losers too, for the most part.

The decline of civilization is real.

Between this and the young lady being proud of acting like a dirty dog in Tigerland, we are in bad shape.

Interesting coincidence. My wife and I stayed at the Gator team hotel in Gainesville years ago for the LSU/Florida game. My wife found over $300 cash in an envelope. There was also a voter ID card. After we got home we figured out the money belonged to the Florida wide receiver coach. I mailed the money to him with "Geaux Tigers" written all over the envelope and piece of paper I wrapped the money in. It was the game won at the last minute by Addai's heroics. Physically we dominated Florida but Jamarcus Russel had a terrible game and Marcus Randall bailed him out.

Anyway, a couple of weeks later I got a package in the mail with a football signed by the WR coach, most of the coaching staff (Zook, Strong, Fedora..), some players (Leak, Channing Crowder...). The coach wrote a fancy calligraphy letter (weird) in which he told me that the football would be worth more on eBay than the money we returned.

I'm pretty sure it came the same day that the entire Florida coaching staff was fired.

$300+ seems like chump change for passing around among the recruits Florida was hosting.

Same here. But I would have kept $20 or so out for some frickin beer and beef jerky for the ride home.

Well, it was a 22 year old female with 6 names (wont put all on here but two of the names were Figueroa and Rodriquez). I searched and the internet wasn't helping a whole lot without paying some money. That wasn't happening, bad enough she was a supposed Gator Fan.

why?

No particular reason, just felt they would have stole the money and only returned the wallet. I may be wrong.

Was Busch Gardens worth going? Ticket price was $100 per person so I passed.

We dropped my son and his girlfriend off at BG and we rode around the city doing dumb stuff but I bought the tickets at the ITT Office for 75.00 each and they got the Fast pass for 70 inside the park making it 145 each but they avoided the 90 minute lines many times. My son said they had a great day.

Hotel housekeeping once stole my dad's phone - a Samsung Rugby. Only after the mgr. threatened to call the cops did the phone magically re-appear. That's why.
