My Uber and Taxi Cab experiences this week:

Taxi Cab: NOLA CBD to MSY
- No AC/Heat
- Vehicle smelled like smoke
- We had to stop on i10 to turn car off and the back on because it got stuck in 2nd gear and exit off to test transmission before getting back on i10
- Driver was polite but never apologized for delay/inconvenience with the transmission and had no issues allowing me to use CC
Uber: BTR to LSU Area
- Driver was onsite when I requested pickup
- 2 year old SUV with leather and car charger for me to use
- Asked for specific route to be sure I was okay cutting around any traffic.

Was in D.C. last weekend. My Uber drivers were great and it was very affordable.

Mercedes
2015 Suburban twice
Cadillac
Sienna Minivan
Will never go back to a cab if I can help it.

I've thought about creating a similar business that features only pick-up trucks and is called Goober. It's for people who need a ride... but also need to haul something.
