So she usually doesn't have the credit card? I guess you do all the grocery shopping? Sounds manly. Don't forget the skim milk.

We have a system. She has a credit card she pays with the monthly allowance I give her. That maintains the house and kids shite. My credit card handles everything else and I pay that one. It works for us.

What did yall do?

Get a second TV so she can watch something in another room when the games are on.

Get her an ipad or something to play on while the game is on TV.

Dude, it is a blessing that she doesn't stay in the room

Watching football with women who aren't into it is annoying as frick. They're trying to show you crap on Facebook the whole time or change the channel during commercials or some other dumb shite

Again, I do not understand this. Why would anyone want their disinterested wife sitting with them to watch a game?

Does she give you any reason as to why she doesn't like that you watch it? Maybe she thinks you should balance it out? What would she like you to do instead?

There's a thing we have in this country that other countries make fun of: More than one TV in the house.

If a bitch tries to control EVERY television in the house, you have bigger issues to deal with.

Any other married men whose wife does not like football? What did yall do?

My wife doesn't really care about sports either. But she watches a little bit when I am watching. She says it's important to me, so she makes a point to at least show some interest. Maybe your woman should do the same.....

If not, divorce is the only answer.

I'm lucky my wife loves to watch football with me. When she gets tired of it (CF Final or some of the analysis shows) she just goes to another room, just like I do when she has HGTV or the Housewives shite on. Tell her to DWI.

She probably feels like she loses him for the entire weekend. She doesn't like football and the fact that he loves it so much that he is so in to it for an entire weekend pisses her off.

He should scale it back...unfortunately she hates football, so it's a tough one. My SO loves football and she has different teams she roots for so I get to watch double the football...my teams and hers.

Maybe your wife had a bad experience with another BF way back...you can always talk to her about it reasonably to try and figure it out. You'll be better for it.

My SO doesn't care for football either (But she likes baseball & basketball). Personally this doesn't bother me at all. I look at from the angle of she'll never ask to go on road trips.

Just a suggestion. She could sit there and do and do other things like I do when my SO is watching a team play that I'm not interested in seeing.

My wife has learned, after all these years, that trying to order me around to do anything is like talking to a brick wall. The day a women, or anyone else for that matter, tries to suggest I turn the channel during a ball game and it actually work will be the day hell freezes over.

My current GF loves football. Likes LSU and Saints and hates Bama and Falcons

Same here. she gave me the "have you lost your fricking mind?" look each time(12 and 14) I suggested selling our tix to the Bama game and taking a weekend get away to NYC.
My gf loves being at LSU games more than I do(barely) but we both love our alma mater's Football and Baseball teams.
And seriously, not sharing this passion(NFL in Midwest and CFB in South) can be as bad not sharing Same religious beliefs or only one of you wanting kids.

You get to watch a game in peace, drink beer, and enjoy yourself. She stays out of your hair for a few hours.

What's the problem here again?
