that's why I'm kind of for it, assuming all of this is true, 1st offense, guy learns his lesson and straightens up, ramifications are a little severe for first offenders

at the risk of rekindling this fire for a few more pages, I think I'd take take my chances with the .13 than the texting teens and soccer moms

Seriously clark? You dipshits who think it's ok to drink and drive need to learn the hard way that this is NOT ok.

Every party involved in this story needs their arse kicked until they were within .13 of an inch away from death seeing how they all damn near could have killed someone last night.

You do realize .13 for a normal weight guy is between 4 to 5 beers? Not exactly shitfaced levels. Someone texting and driving is a bigger risk.

Bunch of fricking bitches in this thread. A 0.13 is nothing. That could be 3 beers or glasses of wine. Some people are perfectly fine after 3 beers. Some should not drive. It all depends on the person.

Pussies.

Not drinking and driving leaps to mind. Alcohol abuse is a close second...

it's an arbitrary figure, years ago the Navy did a study on the effects of alcohol on pilots(in the sim,) everything from sober to blotto, the best performances were by guys in the 6-8 beer/mixed drink range

LINK

This is the only Navy test I know about involving sim flights, and alcohol, the outcome was quite different.

You have to assume that since the guy ran a stop sign leaving the bar, . 13 caused an impairment
