There's no record of the .13 being blown on the breathalyzer? IF there is, how does that prick cop explain that and the lack of an arrest?

Great point. Please explain OP.

10 years?

I love the absurd sentencing times suggested by OT posters.

This may not be over. You can't just erase those things. Gonna be tough to explain.

This would never happen in BR, but good for your buddy. Hope he learned his lesson haha.

Can we call this white privilege? Or is this just "cop buddy privilege"...or maybe it's "I made up a bullshite story to post on the OT privilege"?

So tough to tell...

Got a buddy who is a cop. He called me one evening and was trying to get a hold of somebody we both knew who was a lawyer. I said I didn't know his cell phone number, what you got. He said I got such and such pulled over here and he's looking for this guy, he had just left a meeting with, both were drinking, and was hoping this other lawyer could come and get him. My cop buddy was willing to work it out if this guy shows up. I said who is it? He gave me his name, and I said I'll come and get him, he's a good client of mine. I was in the restaurant business at the time. I go get him, I bring a buddy to drive his truck and we bring him back to my bar/restaurant. The guy said how in the hell did you do that? I said I hunt with the cop, good friend, don't worry about it. He said please don't tell my wife I said no problem. Long story longer, I needed a little law advice and the sorry fricker charged me for a office visit, and then drug me along for two months, without any contact. Come to find out the sorry fricker was in re-hab.

Maybe you should have called your cop buddy before your other friend nearly killed someone by running a stop sign.

That doesn't transmit to the substation/precinct retards. It's like getting out of a speeding ticket. My gf blew a .08 and cop let her go because she was close to home and crying. And probably blew him too. Ha

Not aware of the process, thankfully. Just seemed odd that he could be released after blowing.

Happens alot in the Deep South. I wish first 'dwi' was a reckless op ticket and a ride home or call a friend. And first real dwi would be like second offense. Would serve same purpose but bring in way less money.
