I am Older than Dirt so my memory is not exact but I thought it was there in the late 80s at least.

There used to be a McDonald’s across the street from where Gattis used to be.

A Taco Bell used to be on Highland Rd close to where the Wienerschnitzel is. That Taco Bell would be printing money today if it had stayed.

I think Paradise was in between A&P (surefresh) and baskin robins.

How that place has survived is beyond me. I remember them having cheese fries where they dropped these little pellets of "cheese" on top that did not melt.

Early 1980's. Inga's was originally Blimpie Base, owned by Jim Sevious and Inga was his Korean cook who made the infamous marinated steak sandwich, possibly the best poboy I've ever had.

There was a Blimpie's near Murphy's.

Seems like there was some type of men's clothing store somewhere near the Baskin Robbins, but I'm not sure.

There was a bank next to the IHOP. I don’t remember which bank but a lot of students had accounts there. Mr. Gatti's was next to the bank.

Wasn’t it Louisiana National, which was bought by City National, which was bought by Chase?

I spent many a weekend late morning there upstairs watching football on the projection screen and putting some good, cheap greasy food in my stomach after a night of too much fun.
