I support both the Cajuns and the tigers.

Okay to be quite honest most Cajun fans seem to be apathetic towards LSU but there are a large amount of fans who absolutely hate LSU. Maybe you don't see it cause your a UL fan.
For Christs' sake, KATC ran a news segment about how wrong it is that Burger Kind had a special when LSU won. There is a lot of little brother syndrone here. If you don't think so you're in denial.
Also I've ran into multiple Bama bandwagoners. But whatever I find it all entertaining.

I never denied that there are people who hate LSU. It's stupid to say MOST people do. Most people either like both schools or don't give a frick. To be honest, I don't really see why it's necessary for people to even like LSU. Doesn't really bother me either way.

It is what it is. I think it's fun. My buddy would have gotten to shoot me in the arse with a bb gun when UL beat LSU in baseball last year (except he is a terrible shot and he missed).

Dear fricking Christ. Enough with that god damn hyperbole already.
It's like our obsession with the corndog..deal with it

No, it's not accurate at all. MOST Cajuns fans are also fans of LSU. There's like 5% of the people who hate LSU and a large portion who are apathetic. People see one car with an Alabama sticker on it and assume that everyone here loves Alabama.
This is correct. The "hardcore" ULL fans make up a small percentage of their fans.

Samurai is great sushi as well. Tsunami is obviously the most known but not worth the price compared to what you mentioned along with Samurai.
Johnson's Boucanerie
Old Tyme for po boys
Bon Temps
Taco sisters
French press
Blue dog
Shade tree cafe - broussard
Fat pats
Rusted rooster
Racheals
Charley Gs
Chinese:
China one - and it's not even close
Corner bar as mentioned - laffy and youngsville
Downtown - JSP, legends and greenroom are the only I go to
Artmosphere
Blue moon
Bisbanos - blues/jazz in the basement as mentioned
Side bit:
I love going kayak at lake Martin just outside of town.

I can agree to that statement. And I don't think it's necessary for people to like LSU. It's just the ridiculous hatred that seems unnecessary.

I never understood this, even when I went to ULL. There's no (serious) comparison between the two universities in my mind, in terms of stature or athletics.

fricking love China One. I love Lotus Garden too. There's also some decent Thai places as well. That Boun's place on the Ambassador extension has good Pad Thai.

Yeeeeees. Smoked pork burrito with jalapeno ranch and caramelized onions.
My friends rave about Shade Tree but I've never been.

I've been meaning to do that. Can you rent them there or do you have to bring your own?
Do people paddle board there?

Lot of gators in Lake Martin.

Never saw that KATC segment, but Sonic promoted a Ragin Cajun burger that had an edible UL logo on the bun.
It's also worth noting that when Raisin Canes first arrived here, like probably all of the locations, the interior decor included poster boards that chronicled Todd Graves' life, his time at LSU, his moving to Alaska to work as a fisherman, and how he got to where he is now.
Someone must have complained, because they have since edited out all of the LSU references in the stores here.

Panda House on pinhook is the shite. I could order a feast for 50 and they'd give me a 10 minute wait time.

I remember when Cane's first opened a decade ago and don't really recall that at all.
