I'm from Opelousas but live in Lafayette. This is like watching your parents fight. I'm loyal to both.

I have no problem admitting opelousas is a shithole. I dont have to lie to myself like you guys to try and make it out to be better than what it is. much of lafayette looks similar or even worse than the shittiest parts of opelousas. heck, most of the downtown area looks like a 3rd world slum.the thruway area is littered with crackheads and hookers walking around and a plethora of abandoned crackhouses and the shadiest hotels I have ever seen in my life.
Heck, I havent even got into the abundance of trashy trailer parks up and down ambassador, or why you guys take pride in declaring Lafayette the Mecca of white trash, where every able bodied douchebag has to fist pump at the tapout room at least 1 time in their life.

Not my fault you've never been to Fernwood or Bendel Gardens or East and West Bayou Parkway. That's not even getting into the obviousness that is River Ranch. You do you, baw. Never change.
