Get ready to enjoy lakes. Hartwell, Keowee, and Jocassee are all great lakes.

I miss upstate SC. Liked living there way better than Charlotte

Ok sorry I’m late with this just walked in from a game. The Woodruff Road Five Forks area is mostly coded for Mauldin Middle and High some Hillcrest Middle and High and I’m pretty sure Bells Crossing Elementary. Should know that not 100% sure. Mauldin is the better of those two IMO. But Hillcrest is a good school. Now there is a new high school opening in Fountain Inn so I’m not 100% sure what they will do for zones. It’s a high school so that will be done the road for you. There is a neighborhood Holly Tree Country Club where part is Mauldin and part is Hillcrest but that’s more Simpsonville and not really Five Forks.

Five Forks is mostly a Simpsonville address but it’s not in Simpsonville. It’s basically just an area on Woodruff Rd where five roads come together. I have a Simpsonville address and live there. If I still had kids in school they would go to Mauldin. The neighborhood 1/2 mile away is considered Five Forks but Greenville address. Neither are in the city limits of Greenville nor Simpsonville.

Kingsbridge, Kilgore Plantation, River Walk, Five Forks Plantation, Stonehaven, Waverly Hall, Asheton Springs, Stonewyck, Adams Creek, Boxwood, Ansley Crossing, Adams Run, Roper Meadows, Sparrows Point and Woodruff Lake are Five Forks neighborhoods of the top of my head.

I’m sorry if I confused you as far as the schools go and what is and is not Five Forks but it’s hard to explain. Especially with the school zones. Will check again tomorrow so ask if you have any questions and I will try and help.

This is where we have lived for the past 6 years. Schools are great. We go to downtown Greenville for lunch every Sunday. We really enjoy living here

Absolutely. Powdersville taxes are cheaper, schools are just as good and you are literally 10-15 minutes from downtown Greenville. We love living here. Have been here 2 years now.

I go to Greenville semi-frequently for work. I absolutely love Greenville and the surrounding areas, buuuuuttttt that traffic is Baton Rouge-level shitty.

But for a 40+ minute commute, I'd live in Clinton. Lovely little town and I've always had a soft spot for Presbyterian College.

PC is my alma mater. Sadly I’ve only been back twice since I graduated 22 years ago as I live in the PNW.

Some Blue Hose in the house.

Grew up in Spartanburg. Came back to upstate after undergrad. Have lived in Greenville, Anderson and Greenwood since.

Simpsonville! My sister & fam live there. It’s a great town. She owns All the Rave Salon in Five Forks.

Alright, been checking Greenville out. All those neighborhoods are great but houses are pricey up there. We were looking at Chastin Glen and would have bought but they didn’t have a pool in the neighborhood which is a must.

We have a realtor now so I will give her these neighborhoods. Thanks again.

Good luck man. You will love the Upstate as a whole not just Greenville. Check out Greer and Taylors. Some good areas there

Upstate is a beautiful area if you love the mountains. Lots of good places to hike and a very underrated area for golf. Within a 45 minute drive of Greenville some really good courses.
