Simpsonville seems pretty nice. I have a few buddies who live there, and they never have a bad thing to say about it.

Congrats on the move. Greenville is a pretty cool town.

Look at Pelham Falls specifically. Great school district. Homes about 150 sq ft. Augusta road area is great, but homes are now up to 275 sq ft.

Spaulding Farms if you need a really big house.

We had 2700 ft in Pelham Falls on the Enoree.

don’t live there now, but moving back in a few years

I have nieces and nephews there that went to Stone Academy for elementary school, and it is an EXCELLENT school!

Stone Academy

It's in a very nice, livable area. Look into it.

Maybe it'll be easier just to tell the OP what areas to avoid.

I'll start.

Avoid Clemson. You must never go there.

Welcome to Greenville. You and you’re family will love it as Greenville is an up and coming.

Several areas to look at the Travelers Rest area up by Furman is a good area but getting to Woodruff Rd where you will be can be tough to get to. Part of the Augusta Road area is nice as well. Based on the location of GE I would say look at the eastside and a couple communities. You could look at Greer and near the airport. That would put your kids in a the Riverside schools which are probably the best in the district. There are also some nice neighborhoods off of Woodruff road that would put you in the Mauldin schools or possibly Hillcrest schools. Simpsonville or Fountain Inn are growing as well. There is going to be a new high school in Fountain Inn opening next year. Taylors is a nice area as well.

Greenville County Schools is one district with 14 high schools and many middle and elementary schools but you have what we have G.O. codes which determines your schools. It is however an open district so some schools you can go to if you provide on transportation even if you are not in that G.O. Code. Just depends if the school is at capacity or not.

I live off Woodruff Rd but have a Simpsonville address. Kind of weird as I am closer to Mauldin. Now Woodruff Rd traffic is a nightmare at times to be honest but you can learn when to leave to beat the traffic. There are also some back roads to get you to GE.

Would call C D Joyner real estate as they are very helpful. Realtor name Sherry, can’t remember her last name as it’s been a few years since I used her was awesome when I moved back here a few years ago after being away.

Lot of things to do here. Seems like downtown has something going on every weekend. I think you will really like it.

Again if it were me I would ask for Riverside schools, Mauldin schools, Hillcrest, Fountain Inn or Eastside schools unless you want to live downtown.

I really think you will like it here. Can day trip to Charlotte, Atlanta, Boone to ski and four hours from beach.

Best of luck. Don’t think you can PM on this board but if you need any further help I’ll check this board daily and will be glad to help you with anything you need.

ETA: All of the above recommendations are fine. Stone is a great school. Spaulding Farms and Pelham Falls are really really nice.
Forester Woods is about two miles from GE and you don’t have to get on Woodruff Rd. I live in Five Forks area to be specific. Lots of subdivisions here to choose from.

Lived in Greenwood for 15 years. Don’t go. Will take you a little over an hour to get to GE.

This is awesome stuff guys. The office I will be opening will be right near the Top Golf but I’m not too worried about the commute. I live in Atl now so I can’t imagine traffic is any worse. Heading up there this Sunday with the wife to drive around and look at stuff.

You're going to get to Greenville and laugh at the "traffic" if you're used to ATL traffic.

The only really unbearable traffic I've experienced in SC was in Charleston.

Greenville really isn't too terrible.
