Not a top one, but the Moo St. Football stomper Dillon Day deserves mention.

Woody Hayes punching Charlie Bauman in the Gator Bowl has to rank up there. Started an all out brawl.

It's a bunch of stupid shite. No way possible HIV survives in pool water

Back then, I wonder if the international first aid responders were using universal precautions, or if he knowingly exposed them to blood infected with HIV without proper protection. 1:14 of this clip shows his coach touching his head wound without gloves.

I didn't remember if it happened in the Olympic Trials, the actual Olympics, or one of the many other competitive diving events. You don't consider them all to be competitions?

Vinnie Jones with the nut grab or the Chilean footballer who fingered the Uruguay player's a-hole last weekend.

Did Tony Stewart get charged with anything after that incident? Or did it get swept under a rug?

He was never even indicted. When Ward popped positive for marijuana it ground to a halt before ever taking off. Didn't stop Ward's Aunt from dropping this gem.

quote:

Five days after the tragedy itself, Ward's aunt, Wendi Ward, wrote a letter of reply to the turn of events:

I feel numb, I look into the eyes of family and see a deep hurt that should not be there, my heart has pounded out of my chest for hours, thanks for thinking of our family Tony Stewart when you decided to be a dick. My nephew was one of a kind, a true race car driver, a piss head and a sweetie all in one, a young man who will be truly missed by many! Aunt Wendi loves you budster, forever in our hearts.

jesse boulerise

Jesse boulerise two hand slash to the face is a classic. He got sent down to the ECHL and played fob for the new Orleans bread for a short time.

Florida Flop

quote:

Quarterback John Reaves was only a few short yards away from recording what was at the time college football’s all-time passing yards record.

It is a prestigious mark, to be sure, but what Dickey’s defense did to get Reaves the ball back was not quite so glamorous. Reaves had thrown an interception, giving Miami the ball close to the end zone. In order to give Reaves one last shot at the record, Florida’s defense laid down – quite literally – and allowed the Canes to waltz – quite literally – into the end zone. Reaves would eventually hit the legendary Carlos Alvarez to break Jim Plunkett’s mark.

Was it a bush league move? If you ask a Miami fan, of course it was. George Mills, this segment’s reporter, definitely believes so as well. He seems pretty peeved.

Tyson biting off the ear is bad, but even if Tony Stewart really did intend to kill that guy,

pretty much cannot be topped.

you'd have to go back to the Roman Colosseum days to find something worse than that.
