What's the story behind this?

Divers weren't tested for HIV back then(not sure if they are now). He knew he was HIV+ when that happened. Bled in the pool.

It's a bunch of stupid shite. No way possible HIV survives in pool water. Here's a good blurb about the issue.

Olympic diver Greg Louganis (sp?) was gay and eventually diagnosed as HIV positive, possibly full blown AIDS.

He hit his head on a diving board in a competition and bled all over the place. I think he knew he had HIV at that point, but I'm not positive. It was about 25 or 30 years ago. Morons were still thinking you could get AIDS from mosquito bites.

LSU taking a knee on the Mississippi goal line with 6 minutes to play is up there. That was really rubbing their face in it.

You are misunderstanding that move.

Miles was showing Nutt some respect. OM had totally quit and Miles saw no point in running things up.

Nolan Ryan was a bad mother fricker back in the day. I don't think that Nolan even took a step backwards as Ventura was charging the mound

Ventura made a charge for the mound but then wasn't fully committed to hitting a living legend and tried to play grab arse instead, while Nolan never hesitated to start punching.

No he didn't. Kevin Ward committed suicide by jumping on/at a competitors car. Stewart was cleared of any wrongdoing.

Suh has a few top ten nominations for sure.
