Hey now...that's my hometown and alma mater! Home of the Warhorses..state champs in football too many times to count.

But yeah, since the plant (SRS...makes enriched plutonium for nuclear shite) scaled back, it has become quite depressing. That, and my ex fricking half the town, is why I dont live there anymore.

West Memphis is so bad that it makes Port Allen look like an elite, high end suburb.

Greenville also sucks, but at least you have people. Tchula barely has 2,000 and they are almost all in poverty.
Greenville is horrible. Mom and her side of the family is from Shelby. I love it there but Jesus, it's pitiful now. Shelby doesn't even have 2000 people anymore. Pretty much everything is closed down. It's awful.

My family has moved across the levee to the middle of the woods on the river. Now I love it over there.

ETA: Have any of y'all been to Rosedale? That has to be the answer. Words can't describe how depressing it is.

Tuscaloosa has to be up there. Once heard an old fat guy at Houndstooth claim manually stimulating his sister isn't that big of a deal

West lake and south lake are the only two that people from Mississippi would consider a suburb

Starting at the capitol. Jackson couldn't keep the damn water on. How 3rd world shithole is that? But that is what happens when you put people in charge of things that have no bidness being in charge of themselves.
