I had them come to my place in the early 2000s when I was working from home. I opened the door wide enough to explain to them that I wasn't interested, and furthermore needed to get back to work. Tried to close the door and one of them had his foot in it. I gave him a look to let him know that wasn't a good idea, and watched them leave.
Several weeks later, I had friends over on a weekend, and big summer storms had blown up during the day. Same two Mormons appear at my front door. I'm thinking that I already told these two I'm not interested, and now they're going to try to impose on me because the weather is nasty.
I opened the door just long enough to tell them I didn't have time to chat. Never saw them again.

I don't think this was Mormons. It may have been Jehovah's Witnesses, but they don't do nighttime visits either. It's too dangerous for them to be doing it at night.
He should have just shot them.

Missionaries have to return to their homes by 9pm. Any knock on the door after 8pm is probably not legit.

Last time the Moron Missionaries came to my home was a Saturday night, during football season.

I remember being like 10 years old and hearing the doorbell ring one saturday. It was these two Jehovah's Witnesses that started trying to talk to my dad about being a Jehovah's Witness. My dad said "look, guys I'm a Christian Baptist and I don't know what kind of voodoo you're trying to sell me so why don't yall get out of here."

Sounds like these guys are practicing for Sept. 2nd. We usually just have fans pull a fire alarm or call rooms real late. They're going to send missionaries

I used to answer and tell them I'm happy being catholic and not interested ina new religion. They always responded about how we don't interpret the Bible properly. I'm usually closing the door while they are talking after I tell them I'm not interested.

Nope I would have done the same thing and given them a good arse chewing and tell them don't show up on at my door again.

I seriously doubt they were mormons. No one with any legitimacy would knock on your door at 11 PM. They were seeing if anyone was home.

It's crazy that anybody would believe a guy who went in the woods and was given golden plates with god's commandments on them. Not only do they believe him, they made a religion out of it. What's next? Putting them in front of courthouses?
