I got married so that I could have kids and then never be within 5 miles of my wife ever again.

Wait a minute. These dumbasses might be on to something.

Auto-correct got the best of me
I was referring to doing things separately so both parents don't die at once. I didn't even notice the typo until you mentioned it.

I really do not expect most on here to grasp the concept much less understand it.
Btw, those two words are synonyms.

It's not a hard concept to understand. It's just weird.

Those guy and his wife def are helicopter parents as well. Those kids must be wrapped in bubble wrap anytime they leave the house.

Do y'all avoid the house together when the kids aren't there in the event there's a gas explosion? Eat at different restaurants to avoid food contamination?

I don't see where you are thinking I agree with him. I do see where you are asking me specifically about it like I said I did it.

To be serious for a minute, society/media/governemnt has pushed people like this to be fearful of living. This is a symptom of that. What can we do to reverse course?

I think the internet has curbed this more than helped it. At least the old media doesn't have a monopoly on it like they do TV and Print.

Nah. To you and I, certainly. But to the average moron who believes everything they see and read, no. Not to mention they are getting more than just their local stories. Now every missing kid across the country is a national story. I understand why they do this but unfortunately the consequences of this result in the belief that every kid is going to get abducted by the boogeyman.

I think 24 hour news has been more of a factor than the internet in this regard. Also, Law & Order as was stated earlier.

Why would she leave the car running without A/C? That would be the only reason to leave the car running.
