Saturday morning, I'd turn the antenna toward the MS delta and watch it on the Greenwood station. When it went off, I'd go outside and turn it toward Jackson and watch it again. Those were the days.

Probably because he had just finished up at Copolymer.

Every Sunday morning on channel 5 out of Alexandria before church, when it would come in clearly. When it didn't, we'd watch it through the snowy static. Taking in some occasional live matches with the old man was the greatest to me.

The problem is they edit too much stuff on the network.
Mid South was the last great territory and Bill Watts was the man (and no, he's not racist).

no Jim Cornette no care

Corny was there in 84 and 85 managing the Midnights. Watts once slapped the living piss out of him on TV during a segment.

I was watching a Wcw ppv on the network and they changed everybody's theme music.

ECW is even worse since so many wrestlers used actual music for their themes. The dubbed in themes drive me ballistic and I'll just stop watching.

I've gone back and forth on this theory. It's just strange that Bret had that Wrestling with Shadows documentary being filmed at the same time.

Of course it was a work. There's no way an alpha guy like Vince would let someone knock him on his arse and break his jaw backstage in front of all the boys without doing anything about it. It benefited everyone involved and Bret would've returned sooner if not for Owen's death.

Hell yeah, him and Magnum TA had a great feud after they ended their tag team.
They had a show in NOLA (maybe at the Superdome) in 1980 after an angle where Michael Hayes had "blinded" the Junkyard Dog. Hayes came out to taunt him and a fan jumped in the ring and pulled a gun on him.
