Merry Christmas from Tanden!

Finally got to meet the little guy this morning! He was gnawing on a brussel sprout by the Christmas tree when I walked in, enjoying his Christmas breakfast. 
Held him for the first time, have to admit it is a little hard to get past the fact that you're holding a rat with webbed feet. But he was very gentle and just crawled right up on my shoulder
Got some more good shots of the little fella. Safe to say he is part of the family now, at least for the foreseeable future. Even my dad seems cool with him.
This is how he sleeps, with his head like tucked down in her arm. And he growls/whines if you irritate his sleep because they are nocturnal. (I didnt know that, little sis told me because she has already researched everything there is to know about them)
Oh! And I gave my sister her gift from the OT! She was a little confused as to what it all meant at first (she didnt know what GFM is) but once I explained it to her, she was absolutely thrilled! She couldn't believe it. When she saw the total amount her first words were "Are you serious?!?! Mallory (her friend) is going to freak out!"
I gave it to her under the one condition that she document the project building the habitat and all of Tanden's adventures 0which I don't think will be a problem at all). And she agreed. So I will continue to keep the OT updated over the coming weeks/months on our favorite new furry friend. Sincere thanks to all of yall again for making this all possible. You're the best, OT! Merry Christmas!

He is about to knockout the rest of this bag of lettuce in one sitting. Hasn't stopped in thirty minutes
