I meant that. It'll give someone a good laugh, or a heart attack.

I mean you're in AZ so it makes sense, but if someone gets a sever fever and a rash in southeastern LA they're walking their sick arse into a doctor's office or ER without thinking twice.

Ha yea, that's the first mask I thought of, random pics with people wearing them always cracked me up.

Measles outbreak in Arizona

My concerns with the MMR have nothing to do with autism.

My concerns are:

1. IMO MMR has the most severe adverse reactions (autism not included) of the standard vaccines.

2. We are forced to get the three "live" virus combo vaccine and it is recommended at 18 mo even though one of diseases poses no risk at all to children (rubella). Just seems like we are unnecessarily playing with fire and hoping the immune system will do its job and neutralize all 3 at once. The reason they were made into a combo has do with optimizing the manufacturing process.

Rubella(german measles) can cause miscarriage and severe birth defects if a pregnant woman gets it. So...if a small child were to get it say from daycare...then expose their pregnant mother with it...this could be a serious problem.

Point is...the combination of illegal immigrants here that are not properly immunized and little Brayden not immunized because some MTV has been whore said it's bad....makes for a deadly combination.

You used to be able to split the mmr vaccine, but I believe separate vaccines are no longer available. No one make them.

I understand who is at risk with rubella but the adult can also ensure that she is vaccinated. Like I said we are wanting our kid's immune system to fight 3 weakened viruses at once.

A lot of Drs and not just reality TV stars had serious concerns with the 3 in one MMR when single M, M, and R vaccines were working just fine.

There are more than just 2 categories of people when it comes to vaccines. Some folks, myself included, feel it is extremely important to have an honest discussion with your child's Dr about what is about to be injected in him/her. Parents need to know the side effects in case something was to happen. Drs need to be well versed to explain to parents what to expect.
