What's your degree in. I never came close to having trouble in anything but a handful of ME classes. They are seriously brutal.

Do work. Don't let this class define you if you believe you're going to be a successful ME. Do more than you think you need to do, this isn't a math class.

After having three junior ME tests in one day, I can say it's hard. Too much information to remember and process (especially the theoretical portions of tests)

If you have Dr C you'll be fine as long as you're above the curve. I got an F on every test but was above the average and ended with a B in the class.

Lololol, wait until fluids.

I took it with Dr. D, twice. First time I thought I knew what I was doing but ended up taking the W and the second time I got an A in the class. The best way to do well in the class is to do every homework problem and go to his office when you don't understand something. Dr. Guo is a really smart guy if his accent doesn't put you to sleep first. He worked on turbo jets for Rolls Royce in England I believe.

Hated circuits, you either got it or you didn't.

Thermodynamics is the most overrated difficulty of a class I've ever encountered.
And people who struggle with circuits I are retarded as frick.

Thermo was rough for me. Just so many variables to solve for, it is a PITA. Fluids was pretty easy. Heat Transfer the same. Circuits is basically 1+1. Diff eq 1 and 2 were the hardest I've taken. I think the teacher typed in B instead of D for the 2nd one. I'll take it

any stories
Fall 2004. Gonthier. First homework assignment.
90% of the class just copied the solution manual. Solution manual had an error that read something like 134 Joules + 48 Joules = 164 Joules. Well 90% of the class turns in their homework assignment claiming 134+48=164.
Gonthier walks in at the beginning of the next class. Goes straight to the board and writes 134 + 48 =/= 164. Slams his shite on the table. Calls us all fricking Xerox machines and makes homework worth like 0.5% of our grade.
I remember that class getting much smaller after that day.

Heard that, as a ChE I had to retake the equivalent class for our major, did well on the homework but it didn't translate to the tests. 2nd time ard I switched up study habits and then the proverbial light came on and it all made sense. But thermo is a subject that you really have to work at as it's not intuitive. Turned my 4 year track into a 5 year bc it was offered once a year. Good luck to the OP.

I never made below a B at LSU. Of course, in graduate school a C would be a failing grade.

I had some Greek guy, Popoulafrickapopolous or something. Fall 2005. All he did was talk about the levees and George Bush. Hope this helps.

A 'C' doesn't bode well for engineering undergrads as well, and those classes I took weren't easy or intuitive at all.
The struggle is real.

How much you think jai makes a year? Dude was balling hard back when I was in school, pulling at least 3-400 for every hour session.

Heard from a friend that he currently pulls in six figures.

Private sessions 9-4 at $70/hr = $490
Classroom sessions 5-9, 25 desks at $25 per for 2 hours = $1050
Assuming he works 5 days/week for privates = $2450, works 40 weeks out of the year = $98,000
Assuming he does group sessions for 5 classes x 4 exams per semester = 21,000 per semester, 42,000 per year
$140k/year, 10s of thousands of which are unreported
Dude is the KING. What a boss. Love that mfr
I did all this on my phone while watching a movie. Sorry if there's some bad math.
