Damn this thread was back in the day.

The OP has probably long since flunked out and the only thermo he has to worry about these days is working the tortilla press at Chipotle.

Going old school on you guys. Dr Dupree Maples for Thermo 1 & 2,
Heat Transfer and Power Plants. Thermo 1 definitely was a weedout class as were dynamics and fluids and strength of materials. Wished I hadn’t killed so many brain cells back in those days. I set the curve in a couple of those classes. That Carsten can kiss my arse!

When I took Thermo with Dr D, he told us this:
“The first time you take thermo, you don’t understand it. The second time you take thermo, you still don’t understand it. The third time you take thermo, you’re so used to it it doesn’t matter anymore.”

Shitttttt

As an ME student you want homework to count for as much as possible. It's free points you may need at the end. You'll have to do it anyway to pass unless you're a genius. Cant tell you how many nights a group of 6 of us stayed up till midnight with multiple pots of coffee working on a handful of homework problems that didnt count for shite

Maybe you did...... I didn't do homework. If homework was worth 10%,I started with a B. Terrible attitude, but the truth. I used to wait until the week before an exam and take all the homework with the solutions and use it to study. I can remember Harris Wong required that we turn in all homework in order to take the final. Even if we missed it during the semester, it must be turned in before the final. I used it to study and turned in 15 assignments during dead week. He looked at me like I was a piece of shite. But I had also gotten perfect scores on his tests previously. Final did not go so well though .
