Correct

quote:

U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu’s 21-year-old son spent two hours in jail Thursday morning, accused of driving the wrong way down Bourbon Street while drunk, striking a pedestrian with his car and continuing down the road.

I am very surprised she let herself be photographed in a situation like this. While I strongly disagree with her political leanings, I at least thought she was a smart politician.

This does not help her cause at all.

She's trying way too hard.

This reeks of desperation.

TWO HOURS!?! I find that impossible to believe. No way they let him out after 2 hours

So??? Should we really judge people based on their kids mistakes?
That is just silly bullshite.

Agreed.

I don't really care about her (or Vitter's) personal life, to a point.

I am much more concerned with her voting record.

Promoting and actively participating in binge drinking in south Louisiana where baptists are around every corner is not going to help her.

I'm sure those same holier-than-thous won't mind voting for the philanderer Vitter.

[quote] He was arrested just before 3 a.m. Thursday morning

I don't know the process. What happened between arrested at 3 am and booking at 8 am? Holding cell?

This was my point a few pages back. She's got to be smarter than this or maybe she just doesn't give a sh*t about her Senate seat anymore.

You seem like a smart guy...
I'm going spell this out and see if you can connect the dots...

Yes we all kow that Boysie stared in a commercial for Mary...

Mary Landrieu
quote:

Chair of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources and Senior United States Senator

She's a very powerful person in Washington DC

Donald "Boysie" Bollinger,
quote:

chairman of the board and CEO of Bollinger Shipyards (at the time of the commercial)

quote:

Bollinger, finance chairman of the Louisiana Republican Party on three separate occasions and a delegate to every GOP National Convention since 1976

quote:

U. S. Coast Guard awarded a $255 million contract option to Bollinger Shipyards of Lockport, La., July 23, 2014 for the production of six more Sentinel-class Fast Response Cutters (FRCs). This option award brings the total number of FRCs under contract with Bollinger to 30, with a current contract value of $1.4 billion.

Everyone knows that Mary can pull those contracts as fast as they were awarded....
LINK

It's also common knowledge that she called Boysie up to Washington and forced him to run those commercials.

People that are close to Boysie know better than to believe that he fully supports her and is actually going to vote for her....

Doesn't matter now because those commercials have stopped running, and Boysie has sold Bollinger Shipyards to Gary Chouest for $950 Million
