What are the odds that they move Bacchus to Saturday and they run the Endymion route?Opposite scenario from a few years back when Endymion rolled after Bacchus on Sunday on the uptown route.

What would they do with the Bacchus Ball? I'll be really pissed if the parade gets cancelled. Those tix are expensive

Even without the parade, there is still a ball. The year Endymion rode behind Bacchus, we still had the Extravaganza on Saturday.

But, I don't see them moving Bacchus to Saturday.

They could still keep the ball on Sunday. In my opinion it would make sense to run Bacchus either Saturday or Tuesday following the truck parades. The weather is supposed to be nice on Tuesday but just cold.

Sunday is pretty dialed in. The computers hate subtle features, but notice the big stuff well. The forecasts for the rest of Mardi Gras shouldn't change alot.

If that front will just push through earlier in the day, Bacchus would at least be alright if muddy along the route. Thoth is in a tough spot no matter what.

Thanks Duke. Tonight looks like a washout. How locked in are the models for Endymion? Anything new?

Saturday in general looks pretty good. There's not expected to be anything to act as a focus for widespread rain and storms. Just warm enough to get spotty action around.

Gonna check the short range stuff ere in a few but yeah, tonight looks wet.

When do you expect the weather to get ugly Sunday? My daughter rides in the first parade, starting at 11.

Thanks. Ride in Bacchus but subbing for a friend in Endymion. Going to get wet one way or another.

After sunrise the potential is there but early afternoon till the front is through is the worst time. Shift it back if the front progresses quicker.

Does anyone really stick around for the truck parades?

No way Bacchus rolls Saturday. They would run into Endymion.
