I was just watching "A Football Life: Lyle Alzado" and naturally they covered the part where he died at 43 "due to steroid and HGH abuse". Now I'm not here to either prove or disprove whether that's what killed him...but to pose a question to the O-T...if you could take a drug that would guarantee you major success in your chosen field BUT it would kill you in your 40's...would you do it?

Success and happiness are two very different things.

Does this success include hookers and blow? If so, maybe.

Very true. The interviews of people who knew him said he was never truly happy..that it was elusive for him

Why not change your subject to:

A Football Life: Lyle Alzado
So it won't get anchored/deleted?

You must be new here...

Not if it only made me a success in my chosen field.

Now, if we're talking about NZT from "Limitless"...I would highly consider it.

That's interesting Lloyd...I'd like to hear your reason for this choice ...
How old are you btw?

I'm gonna be 39 this year so I'd have to say no for myself. I can't imagine knowing that I'm gonna check out in just a couple more years...I've got so many things that I wanna be around for, seeing my two boys grow up to become adults being the most important. Given the choice at 20 though...I don't know. Maybe I would've chosen differently.

This stuff pretty much already exists in Adderall, Vyvanse, etc.

I'm convinced if we just let everybody use and we had it for years before now this probe going to Pluto would have people on it

Can I take the recommended dosage, still be a badass and make it to old age?

I am in upper thirties. If I had family I may be like you. But if i could roll through my 20s and 30s living an awesome life, it would have been totally worth it for me. So to pass away at the start of my decline, I just think it would have been worth it

No one would make that decision if they truly thought of the consequences.

Nah. Adderall et al makes you focus, but it doesn't make you smarter. NZT supposedly allowed someone to access 100% of their brain power.

I'm not learning Chinese in a week on Adderall.
