Idk but it Seems like every english class has 17 students in it and it’s offered every hour on the hour. But they have no problem jamming 350 kids into a chemistry or a 175 into an engineering statics

Damn. It was like $1200 when I started in 1996.

I remember those days.

However, this is 22yrs later.

A Chevy truck was $10K those days too.

Whenever I tell my co-workers the amount of LSU tuition, they laugh because most of them are at least 50k in debt. 6k is nothing compared to 90% of the country

How top heavy has LSU become?

This right here. Publicly funded institution yet we have zero visibility on how that money is being spent. I would like to see a breakdown.

$1200 adjusted for inflation from 1996 to today is $1958

Yea but English TAs are a dime a dozen and get paid pennies.

$6K/semester is what I paid for out-of-state tuition in 2004-2005. It was only $1,000/semester more for me to go to LSU than to attend an in-state school in Virginia back then.

Wonder what bull shite “fee” was added cause the actual tuition didn’t change

So the "tuition" didn't go above 6k. Tuition is around 4K for a full time student. Fees are 2K. LSU has to add in fees because it takes an act of congress to change the tuition.

Don’t think many people care about the itemized costs. 6k is 6k

I got by on $2k per semester in covered wagon days. That's tuition, books, room, board, fraternity dues and a little spending money.

That's crazy.

Don't remember what tuition itself was in the fall of 1987, but I lived in the dorm, and paid my fee bill (remember that?) that totaled $904.

Doesn’t TOPS cover tuition but not fees? So it doesn’t matter
