Deaths are staying consistent.

Number of test are down.

Vents and hospitalized are all over the place.

Less people on Vents than 10 days ago and we’re at 3 times as many infected now. That’s a good sign. (I wish there was a way to know active infected cases.)

Like send that shite to the governors office ... they need to get this state back open. This is all insane. I truly am starting to feel like we're just gonna end up being WAY WAY WAY worse off than we were when we ever started this.

Tracing
Immunity papers
Arresting people for playing football with their kid
Giving tickets to those at a church service but who are IN their cars with windows rolled up

I mean wth?? I guess I'm just losing my mind.

My parish has 5 cases according to the LDH. But the sheriff says the actual count is 16, per information from local health care providers.

Except for yesterday when vent numbers were up by 6, it had gone gone daily since April 7.

And at least hospitalizations were in double digit increased and not triple.

Trying to be positive and my God it isn't easy.

So there are 15,000 more cases (20,000 compared to 5000) but number of patients on ventilators is the same as it was on April 1.

For the economy we better hope there isn't a superspreader at the Life Tabernacle Church this weekend.

Confirmed cases not total cases. More people who are not as sick are getting tests now. Treatment has gotten better.

I was hoping the number of hospitalizations would have peaked by now. It's good that it's only moving up a small to moderate amount, but I'll be glad when it goes down for a few days in a row. Although I think it's still well below statewide capacity. I've seen that in the 7,000 range on one site.

Hospitalizations seem to be the most useful number. The total number of cases seems pretty useless because it depends on how many tests are being done. Vents going down in very encouraging. I've seen reports that they are using different treatments and all, but still good that it's going down. Death numbers will likely lag.
