So 13% of those that get tested are positive.

Of those that have tested positive, 4.1% have died.

If the Johns Hopkins numbers are correct - Italy is currently at 10.5% death rate.

That doesn’t seem like horrible numbers to me, especially in this stage of the process. And knowing the vast majority of deaths are extremely elderly. Am I wrong?

So we have doubled the deaths in just two days.

Think about the people who have had it and never got tested. Probably close to 5k. For the most part this thing is getting over blown.

I am on day 5 of the 14 day quarantine. Ran fever Monday and was coughing Monday and Tuesday. Since then I’ve been fine. Not getting tested, don’t feel like I need to since I feel fine but I’m also not leaving my house just in case.

The high death rates in other countries is what's horrible. I don't get the discrepancy, ours are lower.

It could be because more people have it then they think and that causes the number to be higher.

Yes and no. From my understanding, deaths are not necessarily reported on the day they died.

Every country has started with similar numbers to the US. It’s when the hospitals get overwhelmed that you see that number skyrocket.

I’ll take your opinion with a grain of salt, but appreciate your input. I guess one man’s not horrible is another man’s horrible?
