Good call their asses out. This is pitiful, we should have more opportunities here in Louisiana, Minimum wage should be raised with the high arse cost of living here, Unemployment payment should be raised to at least 450 a week, and Tops shouldn't suffer from this states BS. This state is a run down shite hole. But dammit I love Louisiana.

I think it all starts with educating your people. That is a tough task though because education always starts at home. Add in the fact that you have so many women and men today having 3+ kids out of wedlock with little to no education, no skills and a total lack of accountability and this is what you get. I honestly have no clue on how to solve it because you can't make a person want a better life for themselves or their children.

To start fixing this state, we need to jettison the entire constitution and start over. Problem with that is that our politicians are all so pathetically bad, I feel the outcome would be even worse.
There is no easy fix here, but LA is currently fricked.
The first step is for LA citizens to admit that their state is shite.
Scruffy isn't moving back there after residency.
