Yep, and in five years they all look like crap. Plus, most of em only require wood in the windows that face the street.

It is foolish to use wood here and not amount of fake logic will change that.

You must not know what over 500k means.
Don't want to come off like an arse if I say what it really sold for. But I would say seven figures isn't poor.

And if you live on he golf course, those have to be a true divided light also. So your only savings are the ones on the sides that no one sees anyway.

For me, it wasn't about savings. I just think wood windows, in our climate, are a horrible choice.

You used wood windows. Of course you have to replace them in ten years (common sense). Not his fault you thought wood was the best. You vinyl next time douche

Sure, dickbag, I had a lot of choices on windows. I could choose wood, wood or wood. HOA mandate that could not be worked around.

You should focus more on fricking your cousins than on commenting on threads you know nothing about.

Give you another name: Steve Mclin-Mclin Construction
Did my custon home on my on lot, and many others. He is from L.P., and uses many contractors from that area. As stated earlier, usually can get a better price from subs since they dont have to travel as far.

i'm looking to build as well, but in Ascension, near the end of Bluff Rd.... we are talking to Passman Homes, and he's actually drawing up the blueprints of the floor plan we gave him....

anyone have an honest assessment of Passman?

Have worked with McLin homes also. They are good builders.

Is Omar still with them?

And Townsend will allow some changes.

Yep. That is what we are going to do. I have a couple that will need attention sooner rather than later, but trying to put the bulk of it off for another 6 or 8 months. My backyard I'd demoed right now. Redoing the pool and adding an outdoor living space and kitchen. I want to complete this before starting another major project.
