They park on the side so they don't have cars infront of the house all day. It's very common and tearing out the concrete and repouring is not a big deal for a big track builder. This is how 99% of them set up their mode homes/ sales offices...

Blaze grills is coming out with a solid aluminum Kamado. It's should be available in a few months. I would wait to see what this thing is made of. The target price I believe is going to be around your budget. I have seen it and seen it cook. Seems pretty legit....
